Purpose

To ensure all JME electricians maintain a consistent stock level to maximise first-time fixes and reduce unnecessary supplier visits.

Essential Accessories

The following items shall be carried on every van:

• Single Socket
• Double Socket
• Switched FCU
• Unswitched FCU
• 1 Gang Light Switch
• 2 Gang Light Switch
• 3 Gang Light Switch
• Intermediate Switch
• Pull Cord Switch
• 20A Double Pole Switch
• Fan Isolator
• Single + Double Cooker Isolator
• Pendant Set

Consumer Unit Stock

Minimum stock:

• B32 RCBO
• B16 RCBO
• B6 RCBO
• Spare Blanks
• Consumer Unit Labels

Cable Stock

Minimum stock:

• 1.5mm² Twin & Earth
• 2.5mm² Twin & Earth
• 6.0mm² Twin & Earth
• 0.75mm² / 1.0mm² 2 Core Flex
• 1.0mm² 3 Core Flex
• 2.5mm² 3 Core Flex
• 1.5mm² 5 Core Flex
• 10mm² Earth Cable

Weekly Van Check

Every Friday, operatives shall check:

• Van stock levels
• Tester condition
• Calibration dates
• PPE condition
• First Aid Kit
• Vehicle cleanliness

Any missing stock should be replenished before the start of the following working week.
